Being A District Auditor: What's in it for Me?

Be a District Auditor!

Are you good with numbers? Do you understand why debits must equal credits? Are you someone who loves snooping into the expenses and income of others?

If so, consider becoming a District Auditor to further develop your number crunching skills.

What Does a District Auditor Do?

A District Auditor serves for a full Toastmasters Year (July 1 through June 30th) to verify district financial responsibility which includes:

  • Committee conists of three Toastmasters (non-executive committee members) appointed by the District Governor
  • Accounts for all district income and expenses
  • Confirms that the distrct funds were spent appropriately
  • Provides a semi-annual reports to World Headquarters and the district council

To place your name on the list of candidates for District Auditor, contact a current district officer:

  • Area Governor
  • Division Governor
  • Lieutenant Governor Marketing
  • Lieutenant Governor Education and Training
