Lt. Governor, Marketing
The marketing vision for the 2012-2013 Toastmasters year in District 22 will focus on member success. Your district leaders are programming our GPS. A Global Positioning System in the conventional sense is more than a map; it provides constant support for reaching your destination. In District 22, our GPS stands for “Genuine Pursuit of Success”. Like an electronic GPS, the District 22 GPS is more than a map; ours is almost more like a treasure map, only the treasures found in small successes add to the adventure sought in building our clubs into Distinguished Clubs and our members into Distinguished Toastmasters.
Renewed emphasis on mentoring new members and retaining current members will be among our milestones on our path. If we must stop to ask for directions, we need only ask, “Why did you join Toastmasters and what keeps you coming back?” This will keep us focused on our goal of member satisfaction and success. Our District 22 GPS may call for some “recalculating” to keep us pointed toward the bright spot on the horizon where our members, like the sun, will RISE and Shine.
