Instructions:

The Club President and VP Education are each entitled to one vote at the District Council meeting, without proxy. If only one of them is in attendance, and the other has not assigned a proxy, that attending Officer is given both votes. However, either such Officer may give his/her proxy, in writing, to an active member of the Club. That may be done using this form or any other written communication (including an email fully printed out) following the example of this form.

If neither the President nor the VP Education will be in attendance, the proxy MUST be assigned to an active Club member who will be in attendance, following the example, or the Club forfeits voting privileges.

No other proxies shall be valid at any such meeting.

Any Toastmaster who is carrying a proxy and not serving on the District Executive Committee can only receive a maximum of two votes, regardless of the number of Clubs to which that Toastmaster belongs.

Any Toastmaster who does serve on the Executive Committee will receive a maximum of three votes, regardless of the number of Clubs to which that Toastmaster belongs.
