High 5 Gear up for Toastmaster's annual "Beat the Clock" contest as you help District 22 become Distinguished for the 6th year in a row! If each club in the District signs up 5 new members before the end of June, we will reach this goal. It is all a part of the High 5 promotion. How does the High 5 promotion work? It is a 5 step process designed to help each club sign up 5 new members before the end of the Beat the Clock contest. Step 1: Who are your 5? Think of 5 people you know who would benefit from Toastmasters. Think of people from church, family, friends, co-workers, suppliers or other community organizations. Step 2: Once you come up with 5 possible new members, start inviting them to meetings. Step 3: What are 5 areas that Toastmasters has changed about your life? This is what you should talk to your 5 about. Step 4: Think of 5 ways Toastmasters has improved your speaking. Use this to supplement Step 2 when you are talking to your 5. Step 5: For clubs who sign up 5 new members, the sponsoring members will get a special prize. Stay tuned for more details |
